Austin Clem

A professional welterweight out of Springfield, Missouri, Austin "The Clem Reaper" Clem trains with Team Fusion BJJ & MMA and brings a 7-6 professional MMA record into the cage. Springfield native who manages the Team Fusion gym he trains at, so he trains and coaches full time. Wrestled seven years as a kid, wanted to box, parents said no; started MMA in college in Texas when a friend took him to a gym with a Muay Thai room in the back. Twenty-three fights across amateur and pro. Last bout SFC 20 (May 2025) ended in a guillotine he thought he could defend — "I just woke up on the canvas" — then a torn pec kept him out for most of a year. Grappler at heart, prefers a submission to a KO ("you can feel that moment where they break"). Fights for his wife Kelsey and the freedom the sport gives them.
